Terms & Conditions
Welcome to the architectural legal portal of Stackssortwell. By navigating our digital services hosted at stackssortwell.makeup, interacting with our bespoke 3D customizer toolbox, or authorizing modular housing project allocations, you explicitly confirm your complete, unreserved agreement with the legal clauses set out below. These terms establish a legally binding contractual link between you (the Client) and Stackssortwell S.r.l., registered in Milan, Italy.
1. Customized Architectural Scope & Manufacturing Allocation
Each custom modular structure configured on our 3D Builder interface represents a tailored project. Once a client locks a design and completes our deposit authorization, engineering schematics are automatically locked into our precision production queue in Milan.
- Immediate Fabrication Setup: Timber sawing, structural steel alignment, and bespoke joinery are calibrated immediately to reduce client lead times. Because of this high-integration automation cycle, we cannot accept structural modifications once assembly queue status shifts to "Fabrication commenced."
- Design Accuracy Responsibility: The client maintains sole responsibility for ensuring that the specified structural dimensions, mezzanine heights, and total physical floor footprints configured on our site are correct for their designated site placement.
- Color Variations & Timber Aging: Natural larch, cedar, and thermo-treated timber facades exhibit unique grain structures and organic pigment shifts when exposed to varying outdoor UV rates. These natural changes are celebrated characteristics of high-end wood architecture and do not constitute construction defects.
2. Intellectual Property, Blueprints, & 3D Engine Systems
All technical structural layouts, magnetic interlocking chassis formulas, architectural sketches, floor plan configurations, digital rendering layouts, and graphical elements are protected under strict European and Global Intellectual Property laws. Unauthorized replication or extraction of our engineering blueprints for exterior contracting is explicitly prosecuted under Italian and European civil codes.
The 3D Configurator toolbox is made available strictly as an educational and transactional rendering visualizer. Extraction of our 3D code assets, mesh layouts, or textures using reverse-engineering programs is a direct violation of our terms, leading to immediate account access revocation and potential legal claims.
3. Financial Deposit Schedules, Wire Transfers & Secure Escrow
To guarantee a queue allocation in our Milan assembly plant, we require a clear reservation deposit. This fee is safely placed in an institutional escrow account dedicated to your specific construction chassis.
| Milestone | Payment Share | Escrow Release Trigger |
|---|---|---|
| Queue Reservation Fee | Up to 20% of base model cost | Atelier design final sign-off |
| Chassis Fabrication Phase | 40% of total customized balance | Steel framing completed on site in Milan |
| Final Dispatch and Transport | Remaining 40% balance | Factory handover and carrier pickup |
Note on banking: Bank wire transfers must specify the individual structural tracking token (e.g. STK-2026-XXXX) as the payment reference to ensure immediate factory queue mapping.
4. Logistics, Site Access, Permitting & Geological Feasibility
The delivery of a pre-fabricated modular or mobile structure requires specific logistical preparation. While Stackssortwell provides certified transport options, the client maintains full responsibility for site accessibility.
- Permitting & Local Zoned Codes: The Client is solely liable for confirming that modular or portable micro-cabins comply with local municipal building regulations, structural zoning laws, national park boundaries, or off-grid living restrictions. Stackssortwell provides engineering data sheets but is not responsible for municipal permit rejections.
- Vehicle Clearance Requirements: If specialized flatbed transport is selected, the driveway, forest path, or mountain access trail must offer at least 4.5 meters of height clearance and 3.5 meters of width. Dead-ends without heavy utility vehicle turning circles must be declared prior to carrier dispatch.
- Foundation Site Readiness: Foundation preparation (concrete piers, helical ground screws, or graded crushed gravel slabs) must be finalized prior to the scheduled delivery date. If a carrier arrives and the foundation is incomplete, secondary transport demurrage rates (€150 per hour) will apply.
5. Force Majeure & Geopolitical Freight Disclaimer
Stackssortwell works with premium, fully insured heavy transit partners to coordinate delivery across Europe and North America. However, we cannot be held financially liable for structural delivery delays caused by circumstances beyond our control. This includes extreme weather hazards (e.g., alpine road closures, heavy snow blizzards, coastal windstorms), geopolitical transit restrictions, port delays, border customs audits, or labor strikes affecting the European freight networks. In all such cases, our Milan office will keep you continuously informed of the revised schedule tracking.
6. Warranty Limitations & Nomadic Cabin Care Requirements
We stand proudly behind our Milanese craftsmanship. Every custom cabin leaves our factory with a structural shell warranty protecting against wood rot and framework stress.
- Structural Frame Warranty: Ten (10) years structural frame warranty covering the galvanized steel chassis, load-bearing cross-laminated timber beams, and interlocking corner joints.
- Active Systems Warranty: Two (2) years of parts warranty for integrated smart home panels, custom kitchen core plumbing, solar converters, and electrical wiring arrays.
- Client Maintenance Duties: To preserve the outer protective layer, clients must re-apply approved eco-certified weather-proofing wood oils to any exposed larch facades every 24 to 36 months, depending on local weather severity. Structural stress caused by off-grid battery neglect or water system freezing during sub-zero winters without proper draining voids active warranties.
7. Dispute Resolution, Governing Law & Milan Arbitration
These Terms and Conditions and all related purchase agreements are governed exclusively by the laws of Italy. In the highly unlikely event of a structural or commercial dispute that cannot be amicably resolved via standard direct communication with our client success team, both parties agree to submit the dispute to the exclusive jurisdiction and rules of the Milan Chamber of Arbitration (Camera Arbitrale di Milano). Proceedings shall be conducted in Italian or English as agreed, ensuring a sophisticated, fair, and specialized architectural review of all claims.
